Solar Empire Status Report by Bryan Livingston January 15th 2001

Hello Everyone.  Here is what is happening with SE.

The main site needs to go down.  I'm thinking we can host a new site on
source forge and it will do well.  What we are waiting on there is for the
SF guys to get back to mori with the database setup so that we can run the
game there.

In the mean time I would like to setup some sort of official SE page that
doesn't really host a game but links to them.  Since I'm sure that someone
else working on this project can do a better looking site than I can I'd
like to ask for a volunteer to make a site and take care of it.  Let me
know if you are interested and I will show you how to get to the project
on the SF web server.

Other than that I'm very pleased with the progress that has been made with
SE.  We still really need a good production server out there.  Someone
with the desire to setup games for people to admin.  I think Alpha Freak
with his paid hosting account might have the best setup to do that.

Anyways.  Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the project.
