OK!  you've been approved for Official Entrance to the Trex Mercs Game!! 
Here's how to do it:

First, you have to go to
www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/Reef/2322

and fill in the registration form to become a member of the Trex
Mercenaries.  Once submitted, the info will go to DarkFlare who will
eventually, due to a lack of CGI programming in the site,
MANUALLY register you in all of the site's frames.  According to him, this
takes 20 minutes to accomplish.  It may take as long as 24 hours or more for
you to be able to enter the site.  This is because DF is 16 years old, under
parental restrictions on online access and insists on doing practically
everything himself.

It should be pointed out that Bryan is moving at his usual slow pace to make
our game truly private, so the wait to gain entry to the site should not
prove to be fatal to your cause.

In any event, as a new member of the Trex Mercenaries, you are requested to
join one of the three TM teams.  Of course, I would prefer that you join vos
and I in the TM Alpha Squad!  In the future, if Bryan really does get around
to Do The Right Thing, we will make this game publicly accessible.  Let's
put it this way, from what I have been told, all Bryan needs to do in order
to curtail the vast majority of the "cheats" is to place the URL's under
"minor encryption"  so that they will be gibberish to the viewer but will
make sense to the server.  Bryan instead prefers to fix each reported cheat
indiviually.  He is either lazy or lacks the technical know-how.  If its the
latter, he could always hire it done since he must be raking in scads of
cash from those ever-present advertisements.

You are requested to keep this information confidential.  If any of your
friends in either the Putnam Clan or the Evil Empire want to get into the
game, then they have to E-Mail Yours Truly for permission.  It would be nice
if in the future you would engage yourself in other TM activities such as
Earth: 2025 or volunteer your services and insights on the Website to DF.
I know that he esteems you very much so that if you had some ideas about how
to do the site, he would be much more willing to listen to you than to
anyone of us.  However, if all you want to do is play Solar Empire, then
that's OK with us.
